Resolutions For The Skin In The New Year

The skin is the bigger organ of the body. Between pollution, unprotected sun exposure and lack of a skin care routine, you can actually receive abuse. It’s time to put aside bad habits and avoid common skin care mistakes to give you a break.

I am the first to acknowledge that I have made many mistakes when it comes to my skin care regimen. A long time ago I used to sunbathe with baby oil in search of the perfect tan. When he could not, he would visit a tanning salon. I washed my face with any old bar of soap, and did not use moisturizing cream on a regular basis.

How awful! Who was that woman? If only I had known then what I know now. I’m sure we’ve all felt embarrassed in evaluating the beauty mistakes we’ve made over the years, but it’s time to stop this circle. I am going to let you know my five New Year resolutions to benefit the care and health of the skin.

Use a Correct Cleansing Soap Cleansing

is the first step in any skin care regimen, and the choice you choose to clean is important. Many people make the mistake of choosing any soap to wash their face. Most soaps are designed for body cleansing and contain strong odors and detergents that are not soft enough for the face. Evaluate your skin to determine what type of cleanser you need. If it is oily skin, look for a cleaner that controls the production of sebum. Perhaps a light foamy gel may be your best choice. If your skin is dry, look for a cleanser that will moisturize the skin while cleaning. A cleanser that contains lotion as a base may be perfect for you. But, whatever you do, put aside that bar of ordinary soap.

Do not pay homage to the sun

If you’re like me, this is the area where you make the most mistakes. Yes, I also admit that I look tanned better, and I look forward to that summer shine. But, what we do to achieve that look is a problem. Put the suntan oil aside and use sunscreen. It is important to protect the skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays found in tanning beds at all costs. It is important to protect the skin from the sun. These rays burn the skin and are the main cause of premature aging. You may look wonderful today with a tan, but think about how you’ll look in a few years, with wrinkles and fine lines, and may not feel very happy. Sunscreen is critical when it comes to skin, and you should never leave without using it. Creams to get a tan without exposing yourself to the sun have come a long way, and you do not have to worry about that orange color of “false tan.” And the best thing is that you can get that tan 12 months of the year.

Avoid rubbing your skin excessively

I think we all agree that we love how we see ourselves after a good scrub. But, there is a problem when we do something excessively. Exfoliation of the face and body is something we should all do on a regular basis, but we have to be delicate. Remember, the skin is a living organ and you have to take care of it. The last thing you want is to scrub your skin too much, causing it to turn red and irritated. Take care of cleansing and exfoliation. Use smooth and circular movements to achieve a desirable skin. Nothing positive you get when you thin your skin too much.

You never betray the granite’s

I bet that all the people who are reading this have been guilty of bursting one or two granite’s. It is very tempting and it seems impossible not to. But it is very important to resist the temptation to avoid a severe outbreak. Each time you attack a granite, you run the risk of making the problem worse. You can spread bacteria to other areas of the face. The place where you had the problem now may look bigger and red. Apart from everything, touching the granite’s can result in permanent scars. Whatever the reason, resist the urge to burst those granite’s and be patient waiting for the storm to pass.

Reduce Stress

It is amazing how lack of sleep and stress tend to negatively affect the skin. It is impossible to look radiant when you are tired or stressed. The skin loses its shine and the circles under the eyes become darker and more evident. Other than that, you’re going to look like the years fell on you. Remember, it’s called “sleep repair” for a reason, because we definitely look better when we have rested. You might be surprised to know how many people are not getting enough sleep during the night. So, to benefit the skin, have a good night’s rest and try to relax.
